Alumina silicate refractory fiber cotton (also known as ceramic fiber cotton or refractory fiber cotton) is a lightweight, high-temperature insulating material made from alumina and silica raw materials. The raw materials are melted at approximately 1700°C and then processed into fibers through high-speed blow molding or spinning. This fiber cotton exhibits low thermal conductivity, excellent thermal shock resistance, and good chemical stability. Its soft texture makes it easy to cut, tear, and fill irregular cavities, making it an ideal backing insulation material for industrial furnaces, pipes, and high-temperature equipment.
